Landscape Lighting
The foundation of every great night design — layered light across your trees, paths, garden, and architecture. Designed for premium Southwest Florida properties and built to last on the coast.
Landscape lighting is where most of our projects begin, and it's the heart of what we do. Done well, it does three things at once: it makes a property beautiful after dark, it makes it safer and more usable, and it adds real curb appeal — the kind that reads the moment you turn onto the street.
Why landscape lighting matters here
Southwest Florida properties live outdoors. Pools, lanais, gardens, and outdoor kitchens are used year-round, and mature palms and tropical foliage are made for dramatic nighttime lighting. But the same environment that makes it worth lighting — heat, humidity, salt air, and storm season — is hard on hardware. So we design for the look and build for the climate.
Our design philosophy
We layer light rather than flood it. Uplighting for height and drama, moonlighting for natural downlighting, path lighting for safe passage, and accent lighting for texture and focal points — each fixture chosen for a specific purpose. The result has depth, not a flat wash of brightness. See our design process for how we get there.
The types of landscape lighting we design
"Landscape lighting" is an umbrella, not a single service. A complete plan usually combines several of the pieces below — chosen for your property rather than applied as a package:
- Lighting design — the layered plan that ties every other piece together
- Installation — coastal-grade fixtures and buried wiring built for Florida conditions
- Palm & tree lighting — the signature vertical drama of a lit canopy
- Pathway & walkway lighting — safe passage and a guided experience
- Driveway lighting — a welcoming arrival and defined entrance
- Architectural lighting — facade, columns, and texture that give the home presence
- Pool lighting — decks and surroundings built for evening use
- Lanai lighting — extending the screened living space into the night
- Outdoor living lighting — patios, kitchens, and seating zones
- Smart landscape lighting — app control, scheduling, and scenes over the whole plan
Built for the Southwest Florida coast
Coastal-grade fixtures, corrosion-resistant connections, dark-sky and sea-turtle-friendly options near the coast, and storm-ready installation. Every choice accounts for the environment it will live in. See our installation standards for the details, or read our palm tree lighting guide for one of the most distinctive looks along the Gulf Coast.
