Landscape Lighting Installation in Southwest Florida

Coastal-grade fixtures, buried wiring, and weatherproof connections — built to survive heat, salt, and storms.

A great design only holds up if the installation is right. In Southwest Florida, where heat, humidity, salt air, and storm season all stress outdoor hardware, installation quality is what determines whether your lighting looks right in year one and year ten.

Our installation standards

We use coastal-grade fixtures and corrosion-resistant connections, bury wiring properly, and seal every junction against moisture. Transformers are sized and placed correctly, and every fixture is aimed and adjusted at night for the best result.

What installation includes

  • Coastal-grade, corrosion-resistant fixtures
  • Properly buried wiring and weatherproof connections
  • Correctly sized and placed transformers
  • Nighttime aiming and adjustment
  • Surge protection for the system

Low-impact installation

A clean install shouldn't look like one happened. Wiring is buried shallowly along existing edges, existing hardscape is preserved wherever possible, and turf is laid back so it recovers quickly. On mature landscapes we work around irrigation and established beds rather than cutting through them. The goal is a property that looks untouched the next morning and lit that night.

When this service makes sense

Installation is the right starting point when you're lighting a property for the first time, adding a zone to an existing system, or replacing a failed or corroded install that wasn't built for the coast. If your system works but is aging, upgrades may be the better fit; if it's broken, start with repair.

Southwest Florida installation considerations

Salt air near the coast dictates corrosion-resistant hardware — brass, copper, and stainless over cheaper metals that pit and cloud within a season. Sandy soil affects fixture stability and burial depth, so we stake and set fixtures for the soil they're in. Storm season means secure mounting, sealed connections, and surge protection at the transformer. See our maintenance and repair pages for ongoing care, and the maintenance guide for what to check after a storm.
